Ice-Gleam has been born out of passion and the quest for perfection. 

Ian, the owner, has always had a passion for his motor cars. They are kept meticulously clean "on top", but one thing has always been missing - the underside never gets to be cleaned or treated, and this is the area which is most prone to road dirt, salt and corrosive materials. He had to do something about this .. the dry ice cleaning obsession began!

Through research and endless searching on the internet the "revolutionary" dry ice cleaning system was starting to be used in America to great results. More enquiries and investigations followed, trying to find a UK manufacturer of the machines, but none existed at the time meeting Ian's stringent requirements. 

More research followed, the requirements became clear and the costs started escalating!

This clearly was not going to suffice being a hobby, it needed to be a professional set-up and it needed to be the best it can possibly be. 

Eventually the Slovakian product, ICS, was chosen to fit the bill for the ice blasting machine.  Now it needed the best company to source and support the monster compressor unit (along with the prerequisite drier and airtank), to power the ice blasting machine. Compressor Care NW Ltd were chosen for this and the strong partnership between both Ice-Gleam and Compressor Care continues to this day. Suffice to say, between the 2 business owners they probably have the cleanest cars in the North Wales area!

After 2 years in gestation, preparation and finalisation the set-up is finally complete.

The workshop is fully kitted out with everything the business needs to succeed, from the clinical cleanliness of the resin coated floor, bespoke tools and a light airy place to work - with the obligatory safety systems in place. 

The target audience for Ice-Gleam is simple - anyone who cherishes their motor cars - irrespective of make, model or value will be welcome here.
