We were asked to do a full underbody cleaning of the running gear of one of the most famous TV show car of all time - Del Boy's 3-wheeler, from Only Fools & Horses. Now most people think this car was a Reliant Robin, but to all officiando's and car-nerds its a Reliant Regal Supervan. This is one of the 6 actual cars used across the years for the TV comedy series with the current North Wales owner now committing to a full underbody, running gear and sympathetic restoration of this iconic vehicle. It was a pleasure having this in the workshop - the end result was (as Del Boy would say) "t'riffic". Shown below are some of the before, during and after shots of the dry ice cleaning

We were tasked with performing a "Wheels n Wells" package (along with some chassis cleaning and protection work) on this amazing vehicle. The unmarked wheels came back to "brand new" and the suspension and braking system looked factory fresh - definitely show worthy!

After ..

Just to prove that its not always the expensive or exotic cars that people covet. This humble one-family owned since new car is still being used today. Its current owner is the son of his late mother who gave him the car on the understanding he "looks after it". Well looking after it would be an understatement. We recently treated the car to a "Clean, Mean, Running machine package" before it goes off to have some bodywork restoration on it. It really is, a super little car!
